Welcome to Halar. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Halar application, website, products, content, and other services operated by COHAPPY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (collectively referred to as “Services”). You are entering into a legal agreement with COHAPPY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED or its affiliates (collectively “we” or “Halar”). If there is any discrepancy between different language versions of these Terms, the English version will prevail.
These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and us. Please read them carefully.
The Halar app allows you to voice chat with friends and meet new people through live streaming and sending gifts. We aim to create a fun and safe environment, and by using Halar, you agree to use the Services as intended and in compliance with these Terms.
Please note that Halar does not tolerate offensive, abusive, humiliating, or content that violates laws and societal norms. We reserve the right to ban your account if you post such content. If you come across content that breaches these guidelines, you can report it to us, and we will review it within 24 hours, especially for content involving pornography, violence, or gambling.
Our Services are available only to individuals aged 18 years or older (or the age of majority as defined by local law). If you are under the legal age, do not use our Services; we will terminate accounts belonging to minors.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract with us.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without affecting your legal rights; please review them periodically to stay informed of any changes.
We offer several ways to register a Halar account, such as via Google, Facebook, or phone number. You are prohibited from transferring your account to others or creating accounts on behalf of others without our prior written permission.
We reserve the right to terminate your account if we reasonably determine that you violate these Terms or pose a risk to us, without assuming any liability or providing prior notice.
You have the right to delete your account at any time by navigating to the “Settings” menu on Halar and selecting the “Delete Account” option, subject to any instructions on the cancellation page.
If we terminate your account, you will no longer be able to use Halar.
On Halar, you may post photos, messages, and other content (“Content”). While you retain ownership of any content you share, the following restrictions apply: a. Content must not include information about individuals under the age of 18; b. Content must not be offensive or harass other users; c. No obscene, pornographic, or content demeaning human dignity is allowed; d. Defamatory, abusive, or threatening content is prohibited; e. No promotion of illegal activities; f. Content
must not contain malicious code, such as viruses; g. No infringement of third-party rights.
If you violate these rules, we reserve the right to immediately block your account and hold you responsible for any damages caused by such violations.
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. We have a Privacy Policy that outlines how we collect and use your information. Please review the Privacy Policy to make informed decisions.
a. We do not claim ownership of the content you share through our Services, but you grant us a global, non-exclusive license to use it.
b. You confirm that you either own the content you post or have the necessary rights to share it.
c. We retain all rights to Halar’s content and grant users a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only, which cannot be copied or modified.
d. We may remove any content at our discretion without prior notice.
Users may purchase virtual currency (referred to as “coins”) on Halar, which can be used for virtual gifts and other features. Coin prices are listed on the purchase page.
All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
To the extent permitted by law, Halar disclaims all implied warranties and liabilities, including any liability arising from the use of Halar’s Services.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Halar and its affiliates from any losses arising out of: (i) your use of Halar’s Services; (ii) your violation of these Terms; or (iii) infringement of third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by applicable laws, and any legal action related to accessing or using the Services will be under the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong Jakarta Court.
We may occasionally revise this Agreement, such as when adding new features or in response to regulatory changes. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes to the Terms, but we encourage you to regularly review the Agreement. Continuing to use the Services after new terms come into effect signifies your acceptance of them. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop accessing or using the Services.
